SAY IT LOUD: ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES ABOUT THE WORLD

The Vodnik Homestead and the Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region, partner in the Urban Diversity project, invite you to the event SAY IT LOUD, which will take place at the Vodnik Homestead on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 6 p.m.

Refugees and asylum seekers will tell their stories. The stories were written under the mentorship of Andraž Rožman, journalist and author of the book Three Memories – Between Haifa, Aleppo and Ljubljana and Asje Hrvatin. Authors of the stories are Somaye Asadpour (and Karla Kos), Viktoria Pospelova and Mohamed Abdul Al Munem.

At the event we will listen to conversations with the authors, who will also read their stories. The reading will be accompanied by photos of Jošt Franko.

The event will be followed by a bazaar of crocheted and sewn products of No Border Crafts and a feast on local dishes from the writers’ countries.
